Assistant Golf Professional / Inventory Manager
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

TheInventory Manageris responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly implementation and planning of the retail operation, promoting and ensuring Member and guest satisfaction, as well as promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, Members and guests.0777

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, promote and market products.
  • Promote daily floor sales and customer service relations.
  • Promote a clean attractive golf shop.
  • Assist the Professional staff in planning calendar with seasonal sales strategies and follow through.
  • Determine customer demand for merchandise.
  • Create a positive environment and create high morale among employees.
  • Monitoring flow of inventory from backroom to golf shop floor.
  • Carry out various administrative duties as needed.
  • Create and maintain displays to reflect seasonality and promotions.
  • Assist in achieving projected sales growth targets.
  • Perform month end duties that include inventory counts and adjustments.
  • Working shop shifts as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferablya PGA of Canada member in good standing.
  • TEI experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience is a similar role is preferred.
  • Retail sales experience considered an asset.
  • Must have strong leadership skills.
  • Ideally, you have previous golf experience.
