What We Do

We lead end-to-end implementation of Value-based Healthcare (VBH) programmes including Value-Driven Care initiatives, Choosing Wisely projects, Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), and innovative value-based incentive models. Through data analytics and cross-institutional collaboration, we catalyse meaningful improvement in health outcomes across SingHealth Institutions.

Your Impact

In this managerial position within our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of VBH initiatives across SingHealth institutions. Supporting the Director and Group Director, and working closely with key stakeholders including Institutional Value Leads and MOH, you will drive cross-institutional collaborations and facilitate partnerships that align SingHealth's VBH efforts with national healthcare objectives, whilst building VBH capability at the cluster level through effective leadership and strategic oversight

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, formulate, implement and monitor progress of strategies and key performance indicators to achieve alignment of VBH initiatives across SingHealth institutions, and also at the national level
  • Lead the organisation of events and resources to build VBH capability at the cluster level
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior staff to enhance team capabilities and performance
  • Manage departmental resources including budgeting and resource allocation to support strategic objectives

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in biomedical or health sciences with at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience and at least 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in the healthcare sector would be preferred and will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in data analytics, benchmarking and change management is required
  • Knowledge and skill in statistical tools and process improvement methodologies would be a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • A team player, strong collaborator who is able to communicate effectively and manage change
  • Independent worker, possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
