Assistant Director/Senior Manager, Clinical Analytics and Insights (OPSQ)

To lead and drive strategic data-driven initiatives that enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency across the hospital. The incumbent will leverage advanced analytics and data innovation to provide critical insights, supporting leadership decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the automation of Clinical Departments Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting, aligning with the organization long term digital transformation goals
  • Spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous evolvement of the SGH Patient Safety Dashboard, collaborating closely with the Patient Safety Council (PSC) to integrate critical quality and safety indicators, advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and user‑friendly interfaces, while championing its use across the organization to foster a culture of data driven decision making. Leverage dashboard insights to inform long term strategic planning, resource allocation, positioning SGH at the forefront of patient safety and clinical excellence
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement robust data security protocols for Tableau Dashboards, ensuring compliance with SGH data protection standards
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking digital upskilling program, aligning professional development initiatives with emerging healthcare technologies and data driven methodologies to build a future ready workforce.
  • Orchestrate knowledge‑sharing initiatives to disseminate best practices and success stories, accelerating digital adoption and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strategically support medical board offices in leveraging clinical data for strategic initiatives, ensuring data driven decision making at all levels in the organization
  • Partner with Director of OMB, OPSQ HOD and Clinical Director to spearhead a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, fostering a culture of innovation and digital excellence across OPSQ and Office of Medical Board
  • Develop and execute change management plans for new initiatives
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one development discussions with team members
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute insights
  • Establish an innovation pipeline within the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, health informatics or related quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and in a supervisory position
  • Experience in clinical standards and clinical quality
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in quality and process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication and planning skills and macro‑thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel in data organization, presentation, and data storytelling for high‑level reporting
  • Strong project management
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and their application in health data analytics and visualisation would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as R, SQL, Python or VBA and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an advantage
  • Good stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills
  • Team‑player, demonstrate team spirit and skills in leading teams
  • Ability to supervise and motivate people
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and work independently under pressure
  • Self‑motivated, creative and passion in healthcare
