A leading Canadian resource company in Trail, BC is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Power Engineer. This role focuses on ensuring the safe operation of boilers and pressure vessels. Candidates should have significant experience, strong leadership skills, and be working towards a First-Class Power Engineer’s Certificate. Teck is looking for an experienced Assistant Chief Power Engineer to join our team at Trail Operations. Reporting to the Chief Power Engineer, the Assistant Chief Power Engineer is accountable for supporting the Chief Power Engineer with their role of monitoring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping for Trail operations. This includes assisting the Chief Power Engineer in maintaining compliance for all boiler, pressure vessel, refrigeration and pressure piping work throughout Trail Operations.
Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100 km of Trail, British Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered; however there is no camp or company housing.
Pay Range: CAD $119,000 – $147,000 per year. The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
