ASSISTANT CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Situated in southwest Manitoba near the city of Brandon, the Rural Municipality of Wallace-Woodworth is easily accessible by highway, rail, and air. With a population of approximately 3,000, the municipality offers diverse rural living, proximity to a thriving urban centre, and ideal location to raise a family and local business. Incorporated in 2015 through the amalgamation of the RMs of Wallace and Woodworth and the Village of Elkhorn, the community has roots in farming and scenic views of natural forest. THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (ACAO) is responsible for supporting the overall administrative management, including human resources, financial management and day-to-day operations. The ACAO will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and assume authority and duties of the CAO in an acting capacity when the CAO is absent. Individuals with municipal leadership experience, exceptional operation skills, excellent administrative and financial skills, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of leading growth and building relationships are encouraged to apply.
