We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Brand Manager to support our growing Digestive Health portfolio of brands : TUMS , Benefiber , and Nexium . The successful candidate will have proven marketing experience, a track record of execution with excellence, strong communication skills, and fire in the belly (not heartburn!) to build these brands.

Job Purpose :

Reporting to the Wellness Portfolio Lead, the Assistant Brand Manager will assist the development and execution of the strategic growth and marketing plans for the Digestive Health Portfolio. In partnership with the Digestive Health Brand Manager, you will support Benefiber, TUMS, and Nexium. As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will develop strategies, tactics, and lead execution of national brand and marketing programs. You will measure performance, identify growth opportunities, support media strategy and planning, and manage the brand budget to optimize spending. You will execute with excellence to achieve short-term and long-term brand sales and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR Marketing career. These responsibilities include some of the following :

  • Assist in the development of short- and medium-term brand strategies for Benefiber, TUMS, and Nexium
  • Measure performance and identify drivers and drainers across the business to drive marketing effectiveness and consumption growth
  • Own all Brand Reporting collaborating with cross functional team
  • Develop strategies, tactics, and lead execution of national brand programs, including consumer promotion, and shopper programs designed to engage consumers at retail
  • Build brand equity as measured by brand share performance and brand loyalty
  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans that align with the brand strategy, including advertising, promotion, pricing and customer marketing strategy
  • Support media strategy and planning and its integration into the brand planning cycle
  • Work with external agencies to execute plans
  • Manage the brand budget to optimize spending
Basic Qualifications and Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of brand management experience in CPG
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to translate learnings into clear, concise, and effective comms
  • Experience in executing with excellence and delivering high-quality results, on-time
  • Experience in leading cross-functional, highly collaborative and regional teams
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to understand and report data to drive business decisions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, including organizational changes and changes in job demands
