Job summary

WORLDPAC Canada Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all aspects of branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in providing day-to-day direction to the branch team. The role emphasizes safety, training support, and maintaining a customer‑service oriented environment.

Responsibilities include learning branch functions, managing operations, staffing, and budgeting under supervision, and performing deliveries as needed with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to read/write/speak English.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada; able to obtain a driver’s license.
  • Be able to open/close the warehouse Mon–Sat as needed.
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

  • Follow safety and security procedures and model compliance by all team members.
  • Support team training and development and apply learning to daily work.
  • Maintain a customer service-oriented philosophy with the team.
  • Assist Branch Operations Manager to learn all Branch Management functions, including operations, staffing, training, and budgeting.
  • Use vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You Will Contribute At Worldpac

  • Assists Branch Operations Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, reviewing team member performance, expense management and budgeting.
  • Uses vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
What You Should Have
Education

High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent

Must-Have Skills
  • At least 2 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related field
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Eligible to work in the country in which you are applying for
  • Be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed).
  • Meet all applicable state/province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.
  • Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Understands staffing requirements.
  • Broad understanding of multiple department functions.
  • Have excellent multitasking ability
  • Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual.
  • Ability to challenge upwards – respectful pushback.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of Branch operations.
  • Understanding of P&L.
  • Willing to get powered equipment certification.
Nice-to-Have Skills (but Not Required)
  • Bilingual reading/writing/verbal communication skills.
Physical/Work Environment Expectations
  • Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capability of working effectively with others.
  • Ability to read and write comprehensive detailed instructions, correspondence and memos.

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Pay Range
