Work location: 2420 Av. Larivière, Rouyn-Noranda, QC J9Y 0G8, Canada

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will report to the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for leading a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently provided, while supporting the achievement of company goals.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Being actively present in the field to supervise and participate in operations within a sometimes outdoor, physical, and dirty environment;
  • Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;
  • Enforcing environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures;
  • Assisting the Branch Manager during monthly Health & Safety audits;
  • Overseeing daily operations such as scheduling, and achieving sales and production targets;
  • Supporting employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives in the field;
  • Assisting the Branch Manager in employee communications;
  • Collaborating with various internal partners to ensure compliance with business processes;
  • Conducting quarterly performance evaluations for hourly employees alongside the Branch Manager;
  • Performing various administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, scheduling, etc.);
  • Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;
  • Acting as an ambassador for organizational change and playing an active role in its implementation within your branch.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management experience;
  • College or university degree;
  • Experience in retail or the automotive industry is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset;
