Qualifications

  • PhD and postdoctoral or distinguishing experience in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Virology, Biosystems Engineering or related fields.
  • Track record of high quality scholarly research leading to peer‑assessed publications.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain an externally funded research program.
  • Evidence of outstanding teaching contributions or potential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach introductory biochemistry and your area of expertise.
  • Graduate teaching and supervision.
  • Establish and maintain an externally funded research program.
  • Engage in service activities within the department and university.
