The Augustana Faculty at the University of Alberta invites applications for one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Elementary Education (K-6). The successful candidate will join a Faculty expanding undergraduate Education programs and a 4-year BEd Elementary program at Augustana, starting September 2027.

The expected start date is July 1, 2027, or earlier. The ideal candidate will engage in rigorous research and scholarship, commit to high-quality teaching

Job description

Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at Augustana Campus, Camrose.

The successful candidate will join a Faculty with a growing set of undergraduate programs in Education, including combined BA/BEd and BSc/BEd programs with the Faculty of Education on North Campus, and a 4-year BEd Elementary program at Augustana, starting September 2027. The expected start date is July 1, 2027, or earlier.
