Job summary

The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS), invites applications for an academic position within the Division of Pediatric Neurology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. This is a 1.0 FTE appointment, combining clinical work with research, teaching, and administrative duties.

Location – in person full-time work at Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.

Qualifications

• Academic appointment within Division of Pediatric Neurology.
• Eligibility to practice in Canada and eligibility for academic appointment at AMHSP.

Responsibilities

• Provide approximately 60% clinical service.
• dedicate ~40% to academic pursuits including research, teaching and administrative duties.
• Participate in Royal College-accredited subspecialty training program in Pediatric Neurology.
• Share after-hours on-call coverage within AMHSP division.

The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS), invites applications for an academic position within the Division of Pediatric Neurology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. This position is a part of the Alberta Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP).

This position is a 1.0 full-time equivalent comprising approximately 60% clinical service and 40% time for academic pursuits, divided between research, teaching, and administrative duties (negotiable). The position would include after-hours on-call coverage shared amongst AMHSP division members.

Location – in person full-time work at Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.

The successful candidate will contribute to education at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including the Royal College-accredited subspecialty training program in Pediatric Neurology.
