Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help create a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates and vendors. You will patrol the store, verify doors and security features, investigate shrink, and support leadership with reporting.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, and involves physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 20 lbs (50 lbs occasionally). Minimum age 16 and a Security Guard License are required.

Responsibilities

• Store patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, associates and vendors.
• Verify doors, showcases and security features operate properly and take action as needed.
• Investigate incidents of shrink and communicate findings to Store Leadership.
• Assist with emergency procedures and store-wide safety efforts.
• Gathers and communicates information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
