Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment in Winnipeg is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly worker to contribute to the production of residential, commercial and industrial water treatment systems. You will assemble parts and kits following detailed instructions and safety guidelines to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.

This role requires reliability, ability to operate hand and power tools, and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Join Our Team in a Assembly role at Franklin Water Treatment, a Division of Franklin Electric. In this role, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate production of residential and /or commercial and industrial water treatment systems for our valued customers. What you will be doing:

You will use available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to detailed operating instructions, safely operate a forklift, work at various workstations to complete scheduled assemblies, report any quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the Production Supervisor, and ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements as per Franklin Electric Quality standards.

What you need:

• 0 - 3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing-type position (preferred)
• Forklift Certification with 1-3 years or more of forklift experience (preferred)
• Punctual/dependable with great attendance
• Experience with hand/power tools
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Physical demands for the job:

This role requires you to continually lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Continually stand, regularly required to walk. Occasionally required to sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps, turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities/ reach above shoulders.
