Responsibilities

In your duties, you will be called upon to:

  • Work from instructions provided by the Methods Department, in the form of Assembly Workbooks and Visual Aids (VAs);
  • Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings or any other materials provided by the Methods Department;
  • Drill within prescribed tolerances, apply sealants and install required fasteners in accordance with engineering specifications;
  • Respect the standard times prescribed by the Methods Department and comply with the quality standards in force;
  • Respect health, safety and environmental standards;
  • Ensure compliance with standards and production rates;
  • Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
  • T.S.D. Aerospace Structural Assembly or;
  • D.C.S. in Airframe Assembly or equivalent with a few years of work experience or;
  • Has successfully completed a structural fast-track training or;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assembler in the field of Aeronautics or a related field (such as aircraft structural assembly) obtained within the last 5 years;
  • Good knowledge of the French language (oral and written).
