Job summary

Equinox Gold’s Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario, is seeking an Assay Lab Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Assayer, you will deliver timely and precise analytical services to support mining operations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of assay lab experience, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include sample prep, fire assay, wet chemistry, AAS/ICP-OES/LECO work, bullion testing, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to pre-operational checks and procedural requirements for lab equipment.
• Maintain safety first and follow OHSE site standards.
• Assist with sample preparation, fire assay, wet chemistry, bullion testing, and data reporting.
• Keep logbooks for routine equipment maintenance and shift reports.
