Job summary

Bimeda is hiring an Aseptic Technician Level I in Cambridge, ON for night shifts. The role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing aseptic rooms and equipment for production in a cGMP environment.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work with the batching staff, perform line changeovers, and ensure all sterile processing steps meet SOPs. Probationary pay starts at $29.76/hr, increasing after probation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent math skills and English proficiency.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift 20–30 kg and work in protective gowning.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, SOPs and safety policies in all tasks.
• Gown, gown-off and work in sterile areas with proper PPE.
• Report accidents or hazards to the manager immediately.
• Clean and disinfect areas and equipment using aseptic techniques.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble filling equipment for autoclaves.
• Support Clean Room activities (CIP/SIP) and product filtration.
• Perform changeovers and verify line readiness for production.
• Document activities in logs and Production dockets.
• Stock supplies and support training of new operators.
