Job summary

OMS / Royal Drugs is seeking a Cleanroom Technician in Calgary, AB, to aseptically prepare sterile drug admixtures and assist with entry, labeling, packaging, and QA tasks. The role requires a Pharmacy Diploma from an Alberta college and active registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.

The position is full-time, 12-month contract, with a salary of $29.00-$34.00 per hour. The incumbent will support safety, production workflow, and daily operations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education and Pharmacy Diploma from an Alberta College of Pharmacy accredited college or institute.
• Must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
• Successful and maintained certification as a regulated pharmacy technician licensed to practice with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
• IV experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescriptions aseptically in the cleanroom according to work instructions and technical knowledge.
• Assist with order entry, label verifications, production staging, decontamination/cleaning, labeling and final packaging checks.
• Maintain up-to-date training, including health and safety modules (QSI and others).
• Support inventory maintenance, production staging, quality assurance monitoring, and related production activities.
• Communicate with pharmacists and staff, maintain confidentiality, and work well in a team.
