TFS Canada's International School seeks a certified teacher to join our Toronto/Mississauga campuses to deliver French-language instruction at the primary level. The role emphasizes building an engaging, inclusive classroom and tracking student progress with feedback.

Ideal candidates will be fluent in French and English, hold OCT certification, and understand the French curriculum along with IB and Ontarian programs.

Qualifications

• Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
• Ability to teach in French (native language); English conversation (Level B2) also needed
• Excellent French and English skills (oral and written)
• Good knowledge of the French curriculum
• Experience as an Arts teacher at the primary level
• Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontarian programs would be an asset
• Teacher certification by the French Ministry of Education would also be an asset

Salary Range: Teachers at TFS are members of the Alliance des enseignants de la Toronto French School union. Salaries are determined according to a structured grid that considers years of teacher-training (college or university) and professional experience.

We have four salary levels (from D to G), each with its own minimum and maximum range:

• Level D: from $66,016 to $109,105
• Level E: from $68,064 to $115,414
• Level F: from $75,023 to $134,978
• Level G: from $78,299 to $138,321
