Job summary

R Systems is a leading digital product engineering company. We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI and computer vision solutions. You will work on image and video processing, model training, and optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI products.

You will use PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related ML tools while optimizing models for production use and cloud deployment. A strong background in CV/ML and Python is essential for success.

Position Overview

As an AI Engineer at R Systems, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI and Computer Vision solutions. You will work on building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models for image and video-based applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy Computer Vision and Machine Learning models.
• Work on image and video processing, object detection, image classification, segmentation, and feature extraction.
• Develop solutions using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Work with architectures such as CNNs, YOLO, Vision Transformers (ViT), and other modern vision models.
• Perform data preparation, annotation, augmentation, model training, validation, and performance optimization.
• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific business use cases.
• Develop and integrate Computer Vision APIs and AI services into production applications.
• Work with Python and relevant AI/ML libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Optimize models for accuracy, latency, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product teams.
• Deploy models using cloud platforms and/or containerized environments.
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve production models.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong knowledge of OpenCV and image/video processing.
• Experience with Object Detection, Image Classification, Image Segmentation, OCR, and/or Facial/Visual Recognition.
• Experience with YOLO, CNNs, Transformers/ViTs or similar computer vision architectures.
• Strong understanding of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and ML algorithms.
• Experience with model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization.
• Experience working with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying Computer Vision models in production environments.
• Experience with GPU/CUDA optimization and inference acceleration.
• Experience with LLMs, Multimodal AI, or Vision-Language Models (VLMs).
• Experience with MLOps tools and model monitoring.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
