Job summary

MNP is a leading Canadian accounting, tax and business advisory firm seeking an Articling Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team in Canada. You will help deliver tailored financial information enabling informed client decisions and engage with clients across diverse industries.

The role emphasizes developing technical accounting skills, applying IFRS/GAAP/ASPE, and contributing to audits, tax, and reporting outcomes with a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration with accounting/finance focus preferred.
• Pursuing CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Learn IFRS/GAAP/ASPE knowledge for client engagements.
• Set up client files and manage multiple engagements, including inventory counts.
• Assist with accounts receivable/payable, asset transactions and payroll walkthroughs.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients.
