Job summary

Cossette, part of Plus Company, is seeking a Talented Art Director to drive visual and conceptual excellence for leading brands. The role requires strong portfolio work, agency experience, and an ability to innovate at pace within a collaborative team.

You’ll work in a hybrid model, integrating strategy from briefs with direction from the Creative Director, and contribute to bold, persuasive campaigns across channels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in creative advertising within an agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 360 degree conceptual thinking with social focus.
• Good listener, receptive to constructive criticism.
• Passionate about popular culture, tech trends and design.

Responsibilities

• Provide both visual (art direction) and conceptual expertise.
• Partner with Copywriter to develop concepts meeting project objectives.
• Implement strategy from briefs and direction from Creative Director.
• Collaborate with the team to conceive and execute bold messages for clients.
• Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions.
• Prepare concepts for presentations with rationale.
• Attend project meetings as required.
• Stay informed on best work in industry locally and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Provide both visual (art direction) and conceptual expertise.
• Partner with Copywriter to develop creative concepts that meet the project's overall objectives
• Implement & incorporate strategy from the Brief and direction from the Creative Director
• work with the Creative Director, Planner and Account Service team to conceive, sell and execute bold, persuasive messages for our clients
• Participate in brainstorming and creative planning sessions
• Ensuring concepts contain tasteful, creative & beautifully crafted art direction and with material accuracy
• Prepare and refine concepts for internal and client presentations and provide rationale behind these concepts
• Participate in project update/status meetings with project team as required
• Keep up to date and informed on the best work within our industry, both home & abroad

Qualifications

• Previous experience in creative advertising within an agency
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 360 degree conceptual thinking with a strong footing in social
• A good listener, strong conceptual skills and ability to handle and learn from constructive criticism.
• Passionate about popular culture, emerging technologies, language and design trends
• Adapts well to changing priorities, deadlines and direction.
• Knowledge of local market and passion for research
• A team player that treats others with respect
