OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to support the Treasury & Payment Solutions team from our client by producing high-quality visual assets that enhance clarity, engagement, and communication across internal channels. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on creative with deep expertise in graphic design, motion graphics, and visual storytelling, capable of translating complex banking and product concepts into polished, visually compelling materials.

This role is ideal for a senior craft‑oriented designer who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at rapid turnarounds, and can deliver refined, brand‑aligned creative with minimal direction.


Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Contract Length: 2 Years (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create high-quality graphics, layouts, and visual assets to support internal campaigns for new products, processes, and initiatives.

  • Design short‑form videos, motion graphics, and light animations for leadership and enterprise channels.

  • Translate complex ideas and financial concepts into clear, visually engaging materials (e.g., slides, one‑pagers, infographics, thumbnails).

  • Refresh and elevate existing creative materials to ensure alignment with client brand standards.

  • Partner closely with Communications teams to develop visuals that improve clarity, comprehension, and employee engagement.

  • Support ad‑hoc creative requests from leadership, including presentation materials, event assets, and digital content.

  • Maintain consistent visual identity across multiple workstreams and campaigns.

  • Manage file organization, version control, and production‑ready asset delivery.

  • Ensure all creative outputs meet accessibility, brand, and quality standards.

  • Work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines with minimal rework.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience on in‑house creative teams or within creative/marketing agencies.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing excellence in design, layout, typography, branding, and motion graphics (portfolio link required for consideration).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) and Figma.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute high‑quality creative in fast‑paced, structured environments.

  • Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.

  • Ability to self‑manage, produce rapid high‑quality deliverables, and adapt to evolving requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and consistency.

Preferred
  • Experience within financial services or regulated enterprise environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial or banking concepts into clear visual explanations.

  • Familiarity with brand governance and enterprise communication workflows.
