Job summary

Canlin Energy Corporation seeks an ARO Specialist for the management and stewardship of wellbore, pipeline, and site infrastructure abandonment, along with environmental assessment and reclamation programs in Alberta. The role requires coordination with regulators and internal teams from the Calgary head office.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, based in Calgary, AB, with responsibilities spanning project planning, reporting, and liaison with BCER and AER on ARO programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in abandonment, remediation, risk management, and reclamation guidelines (Alberta and BC).
• Experience communicating with regulators (BCER/AER) on ARO matters.
• Pipeline abandonment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects/programs for wellbore and pipeline abandonment, environmental assessments, remediation, and reclamation.
• Coordinate regulator liability program progress, reports, and budgets.
• Direct consultants and manage data, costs, timelines, and regulatory reporting.
