Job summary

A leading security firm in Timmins, Ontario, is seeking an Armed Driver Cash Transporter to ensure safe cash pickups and deliveries. The successful candidate must possess a valid firearms license and a G class driver's license. This role requires someone who is reliable, customer service-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL).
• Possess a valid G class driver's license with a maximum loss of 3 demerit points.
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently.
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety.
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork.

Skills

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Timmins, ON.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld Cash

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL : Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid G class driver's license with a maximum loss of 3 demerit points
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines
