ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to create and maintain project schedules, collaborate with the Project Manager and department leads to assess progress, identify issues and coordinate solutions. Responsibilities include biweekly Primavera updates, forecasting delivery dates, managing material due dates, supporting production control, and participating in weekly meetings.

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, working closely with the Project Manager and Director/Manager/Leads of various departments to assess project progress, identify issues & liaison between departments to facilitate solutions.
Education:
A post secondary education, including but not limited to, Materials Management or equivalent with practical working knowledge of MRP, shop floor control or manufacturing controls systems.
Experience:
Three + years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset but not essential for the successful candidate. Experience with computerized database systems is required. Primavera and Planview are an asset and Microsoft Project and Excel and are required. An understanding of common business practices relating to materials management, production control, logistics and procurement is essential. The Junior Project Controls Specialist will have a desire to learn, the ability to adapt to various situations and a high degree of professionalism. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The Compensation offered will be based on the local job market and may vary depending on factors such as the job‑related knowledge, skills, experience of the selected candidate, as well as other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
