Job summary
A Northern Services Company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles and heavy equipment in Arctic conditions. The role requires a high school education, valid mechanic qualifications, and 5 years of experience in the field. This is a unionized rotational position (6 weeks on, 6 weeks off) offering comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and additional perks for working in remote areas.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience, with experience in heavy equipment within the last 10 years.
- Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic (310S and/or 310T with diesel endorsement).
- Military QL 5 or Journeyman qualification in heavy equipment or Automotive Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs of site vehicles, heavy equipment, and powered support equipment.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and problem-solve for various equipment.
- Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to new or authorized staff.
