Job summary

A leading logistics company is looking for a Winter Ice Road Foreperson to oversee ice road operations in Nunavut. The candidate will lead a team, enforce safety protocols, and manage remote logistics. This position offers competitive wages of $800 - $1000/day, requiring Arctic supervisory experience and heavy equipment operation. Rotational work schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off or 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off, with all accommodations provided remotely.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Arctic Winter Ice Road supervisory experience.
  • Previous heavy equipment operator experience on Arctic ice roads.
  • Ability to work in remote northern conditions and live in remote camps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all field crews on the ice road.
  • Plan and coordinate daily/weekly work with Site Supervisor.
  • Monitor ice, weather, and hazards; implement risk controls.
