Job summary

Altis, a Canadian retail organization, is seeking an Architectural Technologist for a 6-month contract in Brampton, ON, hybrid (4 days on site). The role focuses on fixture plans, space planning, and collaboration with architects and consultants to enable rollout projects across Canada.

You’ll develop from concept to approvals, using Revit and AutoCAD, while maintaining design standards and project trackers in Excel. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a Revit design-focused role.
• Hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• You’ll produce fixture plans for new builds, renovations, and rollout projects using Revit and AutoCAD
• In this role, you’ll develop fixture layouts independently by translating operational requirements into functional designs
• You’ll participate in coordination and alignment meetings, capturing markups, action items, and project updates
• You’ll collaborate with architects and consultants to review drawings and ensure design accuracy and consistency
• You’ll maintain project trackers and support reporting activities using Excel and other planning tools
• You’ll provide insights on space planning considerations and identify potential construction or operational challenges
• You’ll ensure all drawings and layouts align with established drafting and design standards
