Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an Architectural Products Coordinatorto support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC (Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6), reporting to the Architectural Operations Manager.
Day in the Life- Review estimates after tender close to determine costs of materials, labour, material, etc.
- Review work orders and shop drawings
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules
- Assist Project Managers & Superintendents to ensure that delivery of critical elements are expedited and coordinated
- Contribute to all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence and customer expectations
- Perform routine site visits and attend site meetings as required
- Plan, coordinate and supervise on site functions including; Oversee Foremen, Crews and Sub-Contractors, ensuring all on site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work and equipment maintenance rules, quality standards, and schedules
- Assist in managing project budgets
- Review project information and complete submittals in a timely manner
- Complete daily production and progress reports and maintain project records
- Proactively determine equipment needs on site and coordinate their delivery
- Report all issues to the Project Manager and submit any required information to the client as directed
- Confer with project team, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any construction problems

What We Are Seeking- Architectural Technology Diploma, Construction Management Diploma, Estimating Certificate, related academic courses or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Glazing, Metal Panels, Roofing or the entire Building Envelope an asset
- Ability to interpret and read blueprints and specifications
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Highly motivated with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
