Job summary

Qualifications

• Related post-secondary education required.
• Experience in all phases of the project cycle is required.
• Architectural design software proficiency: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, etc.
• Familiarity with MEP and structural building systems and codes is required.
• Professional architectural registration is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Compiling information from reports and published documents; evaluating and analyzing to understand broad project requirements.
• Developing architectural designs to meet quality, timelines and budget.
• Coordinating design intent with other disciplines.
• Integrating engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to codes.
• Preparing design reports, drawings and models following office standards.
• Performing site visits to ensure construction documents compliance; resolving deviations with owner/contractor.
• Reviewing project products and shop drawings for adherence to documents and codes.
