Job summary

Architecture Firm in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an Architectural Designer to join a leading team on North American projects. You will develop and coordinate architectural designs with clients and design teams, ensuring quality, budgets and timelines are met.

The candidate should have a strong portfolio, 6+ years of experience (3+ in NA), and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or Diploma in Architectural Technology required.
• At least 6 years of experience in Architectural Design, with 3+ years NA experience.
• Excellent portfolio showing design and development work.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Develop a wide range of architectural designs in collaboration with clients and design teams, meeting quality, timelines and budgets.
• Familiarize with current design trends, building systems and presentation techniques to improve skills on project work.
• Prepare and coordinate presentation materials to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Perform programming, code research, material and building systems research, site surveys and field reviews, and calculate areas.
• Coordinate design through all phases with the design and production team and project leads.
