Job summary

A construction management firm is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to lead site coordination with trades and ensure construction compliance. The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in architecture, over 8 years of experience in construction projects, and strong leadership skills to oversee quality and standards. The role involves preparing shop drawings, liaising with contractors, and ensuring safety on-site. Candidates with knowledge of BIM are preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead in Site Coordination with all trades.
• Prepare submission of shop drawing / Materials / MOS.
• Ensure work is constructed in accordance with contract and drawings.
• Planning of Architectural Works and micro scheduling with other disciplines.
• Liaison with consultants, contractors & authorities on project matters.
• Implement and ensure QC plan.
• Procurement and Monitoring of Architectural related materials.
• Carry out inspection/trade demo/ material testing / mock-up.
• Verify VO and prepare back charges.
• Attend sub-con meetings.
• Check and ensure compliance with TOP check list and RI (Arch).
• Attend to Architectural materials, sample board, trade demo and shop drawings submission and submittal reviews comment from consultants.
• Complete design studies and monitor builds.
• Create work schedules.
• Update Architectural progress with scheduling tools.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
• Relevant HDB experience will be added advantage.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Architectural or a related discipline.
• Relevant qualification of certificates in architectural discipline.
• Able to lead the sub-contractors to ensure smooth progress of works, high quality standards and minimal defects.
• Preferably completed QM project.
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Good knowledge of Architectural specs and BCA quality requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of BIM.
• Min. 8 years experience in Singapore construction projects.
• High degree of initiative and strong analytical skill.
• Knowledge in A&A works / Project works welcome.
