A leading design firm in Canada is seeking a qualified Architect to contribute to multidisciplinary projects in Northern Canada. The role involves managing large project scopes, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. Your Opportunity: As a key contributor on our professional integrated / multi-disciplinary Architecture and Engineering practice for Northern Canada, you will work both collaboratively and independently to assist clients through the planning and creation of fiscally responsible, award-winning designs. Your experience ensures that you are quite familiar with construction plans, specifications, estimates and building codes. You will be innovating and creating new prototypes designed with sustainable products with green architecture sensibility as your goals.
Ideally you will be located in or willing to relocate to Yellowknife, Whitehorse, or Iqaluit. Relocation assistance is available. Candidates from other Canadian cities with local Stantec offices that are willing to travel to the north as required will be considered.
Typical office environment working with computers. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered. Occasional field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range: $84,500.00 - $122,400.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
