We have openings for Archaeology Field Supervisors to support work based out of our Hamilton/Stoney Creek, Ontario office for the 2026 archaeology field season (anticipated start date of March 2026). Your primary role will be to organize, lead, and supervise our teams of dedicated field technicians to deliver industry‑leading archaeological services for our clients.
As a member of the Stantec archaeology team, you will utilize and be supported in modern archaeological recording techniques such as photogrammetry and high‑precision digital archaeological surveys.
Our upcoming 2026 archaeological field season is anticipated to be busy and rewarding, with opportunities to work on large and complex projects across Ontario.

Under the Collective Agreement between Stantec and LiUNA, the hourly wage for the Archaeology Field Supervisor position for the 2026 field season ranges from $32.22 to $38.47 per hour, dependent upon the number of complete field seasons of experience in the Cultural Resource Management sector.
Please be advised that the Field Supervisor position you are applying for is unionized. The terms and conditions of employment are governed by a Collective Agreement between Stantec Consulting Ltd. and LiUNA, as well as any applicable Stantec Consulting Ltd. policies.
Travel within Ontario and overnight for extended durations is required at times. Schedule: full time.
