Job summary

Stantec in Canada is expanding its field archaeology team in Burnaby and is hiring entry- to intermediate-level candidates for contract positions with potential renewal. Projects span the province with chances to move into regular, full-time roles for the right candidate.

As part of the team, you will work with a Field Director to collect field data, perform reconnaissance surveys, assist in monitoring and excavations, and collaborate with Indigenous representatives while adhering to HSSE

Your Key Responsibilities

• Participate in identifying and recording areas of archeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use sites.
• Work closely with a Field Director/Supervisor to make technical recommendations for cultural resources management.
• Active engagement and collaboration with Indigenous representatives and stakeholders.
• Collect field data.
