Job summary

Foy Tree Care is hiring for a field-based tree care position in Alberta. You will handle lawn and tree treatments, diagnose tree health, and prune trees during on-site visits with field travel.

Experience in horticulture and a chemical application certificate are preferred. A valid driver's license is required, and travel to various locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• Chemical application certificate or licence.
• Valid driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products.
• Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions.
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
• Prune trees.
