Role Overview

Teck is looking for an experienced Apprentice, Pipefitter to join our team at our Trail Operations, reporting to the Group Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Repair and maintain a wide variety of complex piping systems that are integral to the operation’s activities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and fabrication work
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12 and currently indentured as a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice pipefitter
  • Journeyperson Plumber with transferable hours will also be considered
  • WHMIS certification is an asset
  • Related industrial maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems considered an asset

Pay Range: $36.56-$46.03 /hr

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
