WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Our Apprentice HVAC Technicians work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

In this apprenticeship, you'll learn the ins and outs of the heating and cooling trade, working with your team to go on service calls, perform routine maintenance, and help out with repairs and installations. Closely following directions from more experienced techs, you'll inspect parts (filters, belts, coils, etc.), set up ductwork and wiring, and connect new heating and air conditioning systems. You'll learn how to accurately diagnose issues, troubleshoot solutions, and perform high-quality repairs. Over time, you'll become a more capable technician who can independently complete heating and cooling repairs, installations, and diagnostics!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Some relevant experience
• Ability to learn quickly and closely follow instructions
• Interest in pursuing a formal heating and air conditioning apprenticeship
• Valid driver's license
• Legal authorization to work in Canada

The following would be preferred:

• 2 years of experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Have completed a Foundation program or Introductory technical training for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprenticeship at a College or University
