The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Apprentice Gasfitter plays a key support role in the safe installation, maintenance, and servicing of propane systems. This position is ideal for individuals at the start of their careers or those looking to transition into a skilled trade.

You’ll learn through a combination of on-the-job training, direct mentorship, and formal certification, building confidence and technical expertise as you progress.

What You’ll Learn & Do
  • Learn propane system installation, maintenance, and repair under the guidance of senior Gasfitters
  • Assist with safe and accurate propane hook-ups
  • Develop a strong understanding of industry safety standards, including CSA B149 Gas Codes
  • Use tools, equipment, and technology common to the trade
  • Complete work orders, assist with parts ordering, and support shop operations
  • Receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and support as you advance toward certification
