Job summary

Myers Automotive Group in Ottawa is seeking a motivated team member to assist automotive technicians with repairs and maintenance. You will learn to diagnose issues and perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, while maintaining a clean work area.

You will be part of a community-focused team, adhering to safety protocols and contributing to high‑quality service. Training and a comprehensive rewards package are offered to support work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assist automotive technicians in performing repairs and maintenance.
• Follow instructions and learn how to diagnose issues.
• Perform basic automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling automotive components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Diagnose, repair, and complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Inform customers and advisors on work performed and future repair needs.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.

What you will do:

• Assist automotive technicians in performing automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Perform basic automotive repairs, such as changing oil, rotating tires, and replacing filters.
• Assist in disassembling and assembling automotive components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Diagnose, repair, and complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Inform customers and advisors on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
• You will also be responsible for following our safety protocols.
