- Monitor applications continuously across the trading day, perform start‑of‑day health checks, execute same‑day risk reconciliations, and coordinate regional handovers to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Assess the risk and business impact of production incidents, elevate issues to the appropriate technology and business teams in a timely manner, and ensure resolution within service level commitments.
- Identify and implement improvements to application stability, efficiency, and effectiveness by leading or contributing to active support projects across these themes.
- Partner with development and production support teams to define scope for complex application enhancements, prioritise bug fixes, and coordinate end‑to‑end release participation from testing through to deployment.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and technology risks within the current environment, communicate their impact clearly, and ensure contingency plans are in place to maintain user availability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for senior stakeholders, interfacing with internal technology groups, vendors, and business users to resolve issues and align on priorities.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts, setting standards for technical documentation, operating procedures, and quality of delivery across the team.
