Abbeal SAS is recruiting for an Applications Operations Analyst to support a major Canadian bank migrating from SAS 9.3 to SAS Viya in Montreal. The role focuses on SAS Viya operations, access management, data transfers, and configuration work within a hybrid on-site arrangement.

You will run migration accelerators, analyze results, and document procedures to ensure a smooth transition. French is required, and the engagement spans permanent employment with Abbeal at the client site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical role related to data, analytics applications or SAS platforms.
• Good knowledge of SAS (Base, SQL, Enterprise Guide or SAS Viya).
• Basic cloud knowledge and source control (AWS, Git).
• Nice to have: Python, SAS Viya experience, Agile methodology (Jira, Confluence).
• French required.

A major Canadian bank is migrating its analytics platform from SAS 9.3 to SAS Viya and is looking for an operations specialist to support the effort.

A major Canadian bank is running a migration program from SAS 9.3 to SAS Viya. You join the operations team to run existing migration accelerators and contribute to continuous process improvement.

The role

You handle SAS Viya operational activities (access management, schedules, database connections, data transfers, configurations), run migration accelerators, analyze results and document procedures and configurations.

What we're looking for
