Job summary

goeasy is hiring an Application Support Analyst in Mississauga to provide Level 1/2 support for our business and enterprise applications. You will triage incidents, gather diagnostics, and resolve issues with clear communication and thorough documentation.

You’ll collaborate with Level 3, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security and Product teams, supporting platforms like Salesforce and CRM, while leveraging SQL, APIs, and PowerShell to drive automation and data validation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in application support or IT service management
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Salesforce or CRM is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Exposure to SQL, APIs, reporting and data validation tools is an asset

The Application Support Analyst provides front-line Level 1 and Level 2 support for goeasy's business and enterprise applications. The Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving support requests, maintaining clear customer communication, documenting solutions, and coordinating escalations for complex issues. The role initially supports platforms including Salesforce, Wealthview, Edge, Asset, and related technologies as the application portfolio expands. The Analyst works closely with Level 3 support, Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Service Management, Security, and vendor teams to restore service, strengthen support knowledge, and improve the business user experience. As support practices continue to evolve, the Analyst will also contribute to the practical use of automation, AI-enabled tools, and data-driven insights to improve triage, knowledge reuse, and operational efficiency.

What will you be doing?
  • Provide application support for business and enterprise applications by responding to Level 1 and Level 2 incidents and service requests while applying effective troubleshooting practices.
  • Triage and resolve support requests by assessing impact and urgency, gathering diagnostic information, identifying root causes, and delivering timely resolutions.
  • Deliver an exceptional user experience through clear communication, regular status updates, and thorough documentation of issues, actions, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate escalations by engaging Level 3 support, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product teams, or vendors when additional expertise is required.
  • Monitor application performance and recurring issues to identify trends, reduce repeat incidents, and support problem management activities.
  • Maintain support documentation including knowledge articles, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and support procedures to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Support IT service management processes including incident, request, problem, change, and release management activities.
  • Participate in testing and release activities by assisting with validation, defect tracking, and post-deployment verification to minimize service disruption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, validate requirements, confirm resolutions, and support successful business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance support processes, automation, monitoring, AI-enabled capabilities, and end-user training.
  • Support application onboarding and transitions by learning new technologies, validating support readiness, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer into operations.
What experience do you have?
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in application support, technology operations, service desk, business systems support, or a similar IT support environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a structured support setting, with a focus on delivering timely and effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, including incident, request, problem, change, and escalation management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications such as Salesforce, CRM, lending, servicing, workflow, case management, or customer-facing platforms is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, meet service expectations, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Experience developing support documentation, including knowledge articles, procedures, runbooks, test cases, or operational guides.
  • Exposure to SQL, APIs, reporting and data validation tools, PowerShell or other scripting languages, application monitoring, or test management tools is an asset.
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies and an interest in leveraging automation, AI-enabled tools, and analytics to improve support operations and user experience.
