TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for an Application Packager

Pay Rate Range: $72-90 per hour

Job Description

This is an approximate 12 month contract located in Toronto/ON, Hybrid(1-2 days a week)

Mandate

• Responsible for application packaging and integration ensuring applications are packaged and delivered according to documented user requirements, industry, the bank and TBE best practices.
• Collaborate and interact internally and externally with colleagues, customers, and vendors to ensure that the packaging and deployment of software applications are effective, functional, and reliable.

Knowledge and Skills

Education

• Possesses a university degree/college diploma in Computer Science.

Technical Skills

• 4-6yrs of previous relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Mainframe COBOL (90% base in mainframe), JCL, DB2, CICS.
• Extensive knowledge of .NET.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with Windows XP and Windows 11.
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory and Group Policies Objects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API & JSON & Cloud.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance business/previous FI experience is a bonus.
• High level understanding of Firewall rules and networking.
