Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience.
• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience.
• PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Applies Hardware Application knowledge and experience to provide technical expertise of hardware through trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products that are based on Qualcomm chips.
• Collaborates with teams and customer personnel in assessing potential application of company products, preparing product specifications, disseminating technical information on hardware areas, and/or troubleshooting issues regarding hardware tools and products.
• Guides customers through the process of using tools and/or platforms.
• Provides timely and accurate answers to customer inquiries.
• Writes detailed technical documentation for Hardware Application projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, 2+ years Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience

Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, 1+ year Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits

$94,300.00 - $141,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
