Job description

Technical Support

• Work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products & assist in managing and interpreting both new and existing customer requirements – to understand, anticipate and practically meet their needs.
• Assist Sales Engineers to offer customers a product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of technical specification, quality, price and delivery, for our range of products.
• Work alongside key account managers to calculate accurate and competitive sales quotations and prepare tenders, proposals and technical documents to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist Sales/Business Development Engineers in engagement with customers to understand their needs; provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Develops customers' staff by providing technical information and training if needed, providing regular updates to customers on time.
• Build close relations with key suppliers to develop in-depth knowledge of your product range and understand new product developments.
• Assist Sales/Business Development Engineers to analyze costs of sales, to be able to make informed pricing recommendations for core and new business opportunities and propositions in emerging markets.

Supply Chain Support

• Assist in supply chain issues with customers and suppliers, including preparation of documents for cargo tracking, issuance, dispatch, receipt & inspections.
• Responsible for all technical documentations relating to logistic and supply chain including certifications requirements by customers, etc

Working for an SME you will be required to work collaboratively and flexibly to meet the overall needs of the business, as and when required.
