Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a backend software engineer to design, build, and maintain Python-based services and REST APIs within a microservices architecture. You will integrate Snowflake, external APIs, and internal apps while enabling LLM-powered features and secure, testable code.

Responsibilities include collaborating across architectures and data teams, participating in code reviews, and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development or consulting experience.
• Strong Python proficiency with at least one framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django); working knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of REST API design, microservices, auth, and service-to-service integration.
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (data migration, querying, and app integration).
• Proficiency integrating LLMs via hosted model APIs or enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
