Seeking Front-End Developers to join our digital product development team. If you're passionate about technology, building digital products, and working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll love working at the City of Mississauga.
About you
You have a strong product development background with experience in building front-end applications. You have mastered the skill of translating mock-ups / design specifications into pixel perfect and functional user interfaces. You develop UI components that can be reused by other teams and applications. You understand what it takes to work within a full-stack team of technical professionals through the concept, development and delivery phases of digital products. You follow modern development practices and advocate for corporate standards around how we build product UI within the organization.
Required People Skills
Under the direction of the Manager of Digital Services, you will be responsible for developing user interface for digital products and digital services. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team to build custom web applications leveraging our microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure. You will be required to stay current on emerging front-end technologies and best practices to continuously improve the way we offer services to the residents. This role requires you to participate at various capacities within multiple projects between teams that involve significant scope and complexity.
