Working remotely and reporting to the Application Administrator Lead, the Application Administrator is accountable for supporting various business applications and information systems through the installation, configuration, upgrade, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance of new and existing applications/systems. Proven technical and problem‑solving skills along with strong communication and customer service skills are critical to successful performance in this role.
This hybrid position is based in either Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Richmond, Mississauga and/or dependent on the candidate’s place of residence.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Administer database and application accounts, and user security.
  • Provide tier 2 support for primary applications and processes including but not limited to Vista ERP, Viewpoint Construction Financial Controls, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), MS 365 Application suite, Procore, E‑compliance, InEight, Prophix
  • Identify the root cause of issues and resolve them quickly through analysis and troubleshooting, vendor consultation, and utilizing other technical resources.
  • Work with vendors to install, configure, maintain and support applications.
  • Perform Prophix administrative activities, assist with customizations, and issue resolution.
  • Assist the Lead Application Administrator to maintain development, test and production environments.
  • Provide general support to Business Analysts, Programmer Analysts, and other team members as required.
  • Test, validate and implement performance and resource optimization improvements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Participate with after‑hours support as required (minimal).
  • Create and maintain documentation for technical support and user reference.
  • Create and follow existing standards and processes in fulfilling all duties and responsibilities.
What We Are Looking For
  • Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Analysis or Application Administration roles
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Technical Analyst role
  • Experience with Prophix considered an asset
  • Working knowledge and experience with Viewpoint, Procore, Workday, PowerShell, T‑SQL, and SQL server tools would be considered an asset
  • Experience with application installation, configuration, maintenance and support of client server and web applications
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable events; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
  • Effective and efficient problem solving and decision‑making skills; thoughtful, proactive and creative
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging fast‑paced environment, and able to manage priority issues
  • The ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups across the organization
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
