Qualifications

  • Must be a practicing lawyer in Canada.
  • Minimum 3 years recent criminal law experience for both levels.
  • Experience in conducting indictable trials is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all indictable appeals in court.
  • Provide timely advice to trial Crown counsel.
  • Resolve requests for Crown appeals.

Membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
Counsel in 6th to 11th year of call for Level 2
